With years of experience, I understand that one of the biggest struggles for new clients is fear and embarrassment; letting a stranger into your home and allowing them to go through your stuff takes a lot of courage and trust, and I assure you, your possessions and feelings are safe with me. When I see a mess, I see potential, I don't get overwhelmed, or make judgements.
Some clients instincts are to clean up before we get started, but please don't! It's better to get an understanding of how you're using your space in real life to make the best transformations. During our consultation, we determine what your goals are, set expectations, and get started. I come prepared with the necessary tools to organize and begin the transformation of your space.
While every project is different, the process remains the same. During our initial consultation, we will review the space you want to DeeClutter, and I will give you an estimate of time and associated costs.
When you're letting go of items that you've held on to for so long, it's hard to part ways, but knowing that they are getting into the hands of people who need them, and who will get good use out of them, makes it that much easier. I work with local and reputable charities that appreciate and make great use of all donations.
The goal is to build beautiful and functional systems that fit into your lifestyle and every day habits so that, not only will it be easier to keep it that way, but you will also want to. I'll help with tips on how to keep up with staying clutter free...but I get it, life happens. I am always available to come back for touch ups, and/or maintenance.
